Project Description: Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire, to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities: • Ability to provide continuous improvement initiatives and automating recurring tasks to reduce toil for both end users and our own team. • Alert respective stakeholders about delays or issues. • Management/ coordination of production defects, including cases where program changes are required. • To carry out Duty Support rotations among the team members. Mostly on-call basis during off office hours in case of escalations from our level1 team. • Coordinate with ADA Central team with new changes and responsible for all production implementations. • Maintain system operations manuals & related documents. • Monitor system performance and escalate when necessary. • Keeps track of problem tickets/reports. • Upstream and downstream coordination when necessary. • KT to new resource onboard (Support). • To provide day-to-day production support for in-house applications/Murex. • Support User and DEV team ADHOC service requests. • Historical load to correct the data-related issues. • Work with DEV team daily during the migration of different applications until successfully completed. Mandatory Skills: • 6-9 years of working in an L2 Support Environment with SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux, Python, ELK, basic Java, Object-oriented programming, Microservices, SQL, Open shift, CI/CD tools (Git hub/Jenkins), AWS • Technical background in Java full-stack • To develop monitoring tools/alerts to create proactive actions (eg: auto healing/recovery)• To develop monitoring tools/alerts to create proactive actions • Deploy BAU requests • Management/ coordination of production defects, including cases where program changes are required • To assist in rolling out of new version of the application adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures • Able to write scripts using shell/ Python etc. for monitoring, system troubleshooting, and maintenance operations • Experience working in elastic search for logging, monitor systems & services Nice-to-Have Skills: • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Good to have some experience working in back-office trading applications Languages:
