Software Engineer Lead Analyst Position Overview: The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Analyst, which is a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track Role. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive our software development efforts in creating high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will understand systems requirements, produce clean code, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop within “full” technology stack
- Be part of a fast moving team, working with the latest tools and open source technologies
- Use advanced, distributed technologies to process, store, and quickly retrieve large volumes of data
- Work on a development team using agile methodologies
- Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Write clean code to support project delivery – on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members at the scrum team and Agile Release Train levels to deliver features and user stories.
- Collaborate with program and business stakeholders to understand the origin and reasoning behind requirements and identify key capabilities to ensure successful product delivery.
- Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and support the pursuit of business development opportunities.
- Understand established architectural decisions, CIGNA technical standards, governance processes, and defined software delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Programming technologies must include Python 3, and relational databases (i.e. Oracle).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, organized and detail oriented.
- Self-directed and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology and understands SAFe Agile framework and principles.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in application program development; Object-oriented software design and development
- Working knowledge of AWS Services and cloud application development design best practices including Lambda, S3, SQS, Dynamo, and RDS
- Prior work experience with MVC/MVP design patterns
- React 16 or any other JavaScript framework
- Modern web UI development with Material, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS3
- REST service design, JSON
- PostgreSQL – Stored Procedures, Queries, performance tuning
- Experience in Healthcare industry and Pharmacy systems a plus.
- Experience of using Enterprise Jira.
- Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
