Position : Lab Chemist Location : Noida Department : Research & Development (R&D) / Quality Control Reports to : Laboratory Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lab Chemist to join our team in the lubricant manufacturing industry. The Lab Chemist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring the quality of our lubricant products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemistry, with experience in testing and formulation within the lubricant or petroleum industry. Key Responsibilities:Conduct Q

  • uality Testing: Perform physical and chemical tests on lubricants, base oils, and additives to ensure product compliance with industry standards (ASTM, ISO, etc.).
  • Formulation & Development : Assist in the development and formulation of new lubricant products by conducting experimental tests and providing technical feedback.
  • Sample Analysis : Analyze raw materials, in-process products, and finished lubricants using techniques such as viscosity testing, FTIR, spectrophotometry, titration, and other standard laboratory methods.
  • Maintain Lab Equipment : Calibrate and maintain lab instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Compliance & Documentation : Ensure that all testing is performed in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. Maintain detailed records of laboratory findings and prepare reports for management.
  • Problem Solving : Investigate and troubleshoot product quality issues and work with production teams to ensure corrective actions.
  • R&D Support : Collaborate with the R&D team in developing new products or improving existing formulations to meet customer specifications.
  • Safety Practices : Follow and enforce all safety protocols in handling chemicals and operating equipment within the lab.
