Cisco ISE SME/Consultant

Contract Role – Cisco ISE SME/Consultant – Remote Gibbs Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco ISE SME /Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, implementation, and management of Cisco ISE solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network security, access control, and policy enforcement using Cisco ISE, with a strong focus on securing enterprise environments. Role Overview: • Job Title: Cisco ISE SME/Consultant • Location: Remote/India • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (design, configuration, and troubleshooting). • Strong knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP protocols, and AAA concepts. • Familiarity with networking concepts, including VLANs, IP addressing, and routing. • Proficiency in integrating Cisco ISE with directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory). • Experience with endpoint profiling, network device onboarding, and posture assessment. • Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Identity Management are highly desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and documentation abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Telecom or a related field (or e quivalent experience).
