About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Sourcing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formulation sourcing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology and general injectables. This senior position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and business acumen skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Sourcing Plan: Develop and implement a 1-2 year finished formulation sourcing plan to achieve budgeted targets.
- End-to-End Sourcing Management: Oversee the entire sourcing process from India and international markets for injectable and specialty products.
- Product Development: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new products and product segments until launch.
- Gross Contribution Analysis: Analyze and understand gross contribution metrics to drive profitability.
- Export Business Management: Manage the export business for procuring dossiers and maintain market connectivity.
- Proposal Management: Drive new proposals to the term sheet stage.
- Vendor Management: Identify new vendors and manage existing vendor relationships.
- Energetic and Result-Oriented: Demonstrate energy, vibrancy, and a result-oriented approach in all tasks.
- Experience: 15-18 years of experience in formulation sourcing within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology and general injectables.
- Education: B.Pharm or B.Sc. with an MBA in Marketing.
