ABOUT THE ROLE This role would be working closely with the finance, business teams and CXOs in articulating the broad business plans and targets for the company. He/ She would also work with relevant stakeholders in exploring opportunities pertaining to M&A. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed financial analysis; develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analysis in support of potential transactions
- Work with business units to assess and prioritize transactions to best align with business strategy and growth plans.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and recommendations for senior management review and for board meetings
- Work closely with finance, legal teams and investment banking experts to support the due-diligence process
- Investigate and evaluate mergers and acquisition opportunities including but not limited to identifying prospects
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related technical degree
- Chartered Accountants with prior experience in diligence processes will also be considered
- MBA or equivalent degree is preferred but not mandatory
- 2+ years of working in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital investing is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong background in finance/accounting
- Good writing/editing/interpersonal/organizational skills
- Communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver complex, data driven insights to senior business leaders
- Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders to drive projects to execution by building consensus
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Analytical with critical thinking ability
