For more information, please visit Position Summary The role will be to manage the execution of Subtitling projects for Deluxe at the set quality and on-time delivery standards The role will manage the governance of subtitling projects with key stakeholders The role requires experience in working in a cross functional environment and driving global projects Outcomes and Accomplishments As a Senior Manager in Subtitling Coordination, you will:

  • Be accountable for the overall operational activities of the span of languages and team they oversee.
  • Need to ensure issues raised by the team are addressed at a larger level.
  • Be the global POC for any coordination related concerns for their respective language streams/ pools.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the employees in their vertical in accordance with Deluxe policies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for department presentations and ensuring all data represented is accurate.
  • Work closely with the Manager to ensure backfills are seen to and team resources are managed optimally.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders such as Production Managers or Order Management reps (where applicable), setting up regular calls or meetings to exchange notes and discuss case studies.
  • Be the owner of driving the right communication within the team, and ensuring best practices are adhered to when LCs and AMs communicate with internal and external parties.
  • Work closely with GTM to gather feedback from users and ensure team is providing excellent customer service.
  • Participate in different projects/ideas that help the team and the organization to meet their goals.
  • Mentor the Manager to bring them up to the next level.
  • Be required to do regular One-on-Ones with the direct reports and address any personal issues via right channels.
  • Schedule skip level meeting with the team to gather feedback for the Assistant Managers and Managers and work with HRBPs as needed.
  • Ensure employee work schedules including assignments, time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling are maintained for the team and are validated regularly.
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
  • Work with the Managers, HRBP and ER team to ensure all people issues are addressed through the right channels.
What You Bring: Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management, with a track record of successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflict, negotiate agreements, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Sfera, Jira) preferred.
