Head of Trading Operations - Quant Hedge Fund - Fully remote!

Mondrian Alpha have been mandated to work on a rather unique, senior operations hire for a quant strategy hedge fund. The firm have an exceptional performance track – they are looking to use this performance, their reputation as being a high calibre quant trading firm, and experience to rapidly build out the hedge fund. Ahead of a buildout of its front office, we are looking to hire a ‘Head of Trading Operations’ - building out new systems, infrastructure and also a much larger line operations / middle office team to support higher volume daily trading activity are core to the role. The role can be based fully remote, from any location of the individual’s choice. Candidates should be experienced operations professionals, with a background that enables them to buildout operations infrastructure / control / frameworks, build and manage a team, yet also ‘get their hands dirty’ (certainly initially at least). We will only consider candidates from a hedge fund or prop trading background + that have covered quant strategies in detail. The role can pay a sizeable base & bonus total compensation package + the new hire will be part of the firm’s employee equity programme.
