Production Control Specialist

Kelly Services has partnered with a manufacturing firm in Mississauga, Ontario for a Perm role of Production Control Specialist Monday to Friday ONSITE Pay rate $24- $26/hour+ benefits Working hours 7am-4: 30 pm What You'll Do?- Microsoft AX Operations : Work within Microsoft AX to create items, production orders, and schedules. - BOM and Route Review : Ensure accuracy by reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routes before scheduling jobs. - Coordination with Purchasing : Collaborate with purchasing to confirm bought-out items align with production schedules. - Manufacturing Follow-Up : Monitor manufacturing progress to ensure delivery dates are met. - Inventory Management : Maintain proper inventory levels and accuracy in AX. - Material Verification : Validate material and component allocations in AX and Item 360. - Workload Balancing : Schedule orders to maintain optimal levels of work in progress. What You'll Bring: - Manufacturing Experience : Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (e.G., planning, purchasing, or expediting). - Production Control Expertise : Proven background in production control. - ERP Proficiency : Strong computer skills with experience in ERP systems; Microsoft AX experienceis a plus.
