We're aiming to build the newest and most exciting Asian Wedding Photography & Video business at RAYIS Weddings, and also re-launching our marketing agency at RAYIS Marketing, where we do events coverage, and content marketing for SMBs. We're growing quickly and we need talented video editors like you to take us to the next level. Reporting to Ray, we’re looking for a highly creative Wedding Video Editor to help elevate our storytelling along with content creation efforts. Role Overview As our Video Editor reporting to Raymond, you will play a crucial role in crafting cinematic and emotional wedding films that tell our clients’ unique stories. You’ll work with raw footage from our shoots to create highlight videos, social media reels, and deliverables for our couples. Key Responsibilities: (60%) Video Editing:

• Edit Wedding Films, photoshoot BTS, general videography of our clients, and wedding footage to create polished wedding videos or short-form content (1080x1920) for social media platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, etc.
• Ensure all edits maintain the Clients preferences and RAYIS Weddings brand aesthetic and professional quality.

• Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and visual storytelling techniques.
• Suggest innovative ideas for video styles, transitions, and effects.

• Organize and manage video files efficiently to streamline the editing workflow.
• Maintain a clear system for deliverables and backups.

• Candidate lives in Within the Scarborough - North York - Richmond Hill - Markham ON Area.
• Must be able to work & render 4K Video on the highest bitrates (Macbook Pro M1+, Intel Core i7 (8th Gen or newer). A system report will be requested (or just email your system specs.)
• Must have a high speed connection (fibre-optic internet preferred, speed test reports will be requested.)
• Proven experience in editing creative and / or cinematic video.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong storytelling skills with a focus on emotional and cinematic edits.
• Familiarity with color grading and audio syncing, and slow-motion video dynamics & theory.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work, without little to no supervisor review.
