Company Overview: Join a leading developer-builder known for delivering exceptional mixed-use residential projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a sizeable development and oversee a talented project team through pre-construction, construction, and project completion phases. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, organization, and execution of a major development project from pre-construction through to completion.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of PMs, APMs, and Coordinators, fostering professional growth and ensuring team alignment with project objectives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, driving accountability across the project team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee the tendering and contract award process, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist with other ongoing projects as needed.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in large-scale, mixed-use residential or commercial projects.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and budget management.
- Extensive experience with general contractors (GC) or in developer-builder environments is highly preferred.
- Established relationships with trade partners and consultants within the Vancouver market.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.G., Procore, MS Project).
