Software Engineering Intern - Ai Fintech Startup

This is not a traditional internship – you'll be a critical contributor to developing next-generation financial technology solutions, working directly with our engineering teams on real-world projects. Interns will work across three primary technology domains:

• Front-end Development with React and TypeScript
• Backend Infrastructure and API Development
• AI and Machine Learning Systems

Responsibilities As our Software Engineering Intern, you will:

• Build responsive web components with React and TypeScript for better user engagement.
• Create interactive financial data visualizations and manage real-time data streams.
• Develop Python data pipelines, APIs (RESTful/GraphQL), and manage PostgreSQL databases.
• Work on AI model training and fine-tuning with PyTorch, integrating AI into our systems using vector databases.
• Handle Docker containers and Kubernetes for deployment pipelines.
• Team up to design, code, and document software that fits BIASafe's goals.

Qualifications Must-Have:

• Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or higher in CS, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field with at least 2 years of coursework done.
• Proficient in coding with Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar.
• Understand data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Know Git and team coding practices.
• Basic SQL and web tech knowledge.
• Good at solving problems and eager to learn new tech.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, or similar.
• Familiar with backend frameworks like Django, Flask, and API design.
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, GCP).
• Interest or experience in ML with TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Can manage Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
• Excellent communication for documentation and team collaboration.
