Acro Dance Teacher - Saturdays

Seeking an Acro Dance Teacher - Saturday Mornings 2025 We are growing our team starting Jan 2025! We're currently seeking a passionate and professional Jazz and Acro Teacher who has a great ability to engage kids and genuinely loves teaching children. You also have a keen attention to detail. This contract can also lead to summer and Fall 2025 Sessions.

• Certification in Acrobatic Arts preferred.
• Jazz Certification is preferred. ADE or ADAPT a plus.
• Examination preparation will be required for this position.
• Experience teaching kids ages 5 and up is preferred and the ability to teach other dance forms is also a plus! Must be available on Saturday mornings.

Job Description: As a Jazz and Acrodance Teacher, you'll be responsible for leading engaging and inspiring classes for students of all ages and skill levels. Your duties will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality jazz and acrodance lessons that align with curriculum objectives and cater to the needs of individual students.
• Creating choreography for recitals and potentially competitive performances, showcasing your creativity and expertise.
• Providing constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them develop their technique, artistry, and confidence.
• Completing Report Cards
• Preparation for Exams and recital choreography required.
• Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment by implementing proper warm-up routines, spotting techniques, and adhering to safety protocols for acrobatics.
• Collaborating with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules, events, and performances.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching jazz and acrodance classes to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Certification in Acrobatic Arts or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong choreography skills with the ability to create captivating routines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students while maintaining a positive and encouraging teaching style.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to professional excellence.

Schedule and Compensation: This position requires availability on Saturdays, with possible summer and fall 2025 work in the future. The pay rate is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
