The opportunity Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We’re looking for a Implementation Technician to join our Customer Delivery team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing installations while providing first and second-level technical support to clients. With a focus on building strong client relationships and collaborating with internal teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth installations and contributing to our company’s growth and reputation. - Compile and review information to ensure installations meet customer needs and system requirements.
- Install hardware following manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
- Configure, test, and commission systems, providing basic training to end-users and administrators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, including hardware repairs or replacements.
- Complete and update configuration details and steps taken in Customer Services ticketing system
- Perform system reconfigurations or upgrades as needed.
- Plan and execute remote installations, guiding 3rd-party service partners when required.
- Address installation issues during warranty service calls.
- Prepare and deliver reports for customers or management as needed.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with customers throughout the installation process.
- Provide first and second-level technical support for customers and internal teams.
- Build strong customer relationships during installations and support calls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve service goals and meet project timelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product support experience, including troubleshooting complex product issues
- Experience with installation or support of RFID
- Strong electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Solid judgement, teamwork, and a quality-focused mindset
- Familiarity with project management principles; PMP or other certification is an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with fluency in English (oral and written)
- French language proficiency is an asset
- Ability to produce detailed, clear reports and documentation
- Ability to travel within Canada/US/International
- Clean driving record and ability to rent a car is considered an asset.
