Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role You will share your knowledge, experience, passion and creativity with ākonga (learners) interested in engineering trades. You will create an outstanding experience by teaching skills and imparting your knowledge to ākonga in either full-time or part-time study and in practical and theoretical settings. The Lecturer will support learning and teaching with a specific emphasis on welding and fabrication and will enhance the department’s capability for training at all levels. The key to your success in this role will be your adaptability and enthusiasm for lifelong learning, while taking on new challenges as you inspire and teach sustainable and well-rounded engineering of the future.- Be a role model and mentor our learners to encourage them to achieve their goals.
- Assess learners and report on their capability and ability to use new technology in the Engineering field.
- Teach to a wide range of learner levels in full-time or part-time study and at block courses and night classes.
