The ideal candidate is a seasoned chef with a background in cafe and casual dining with an in depth knowledge of global cuisines and flavours. You will run an efficient kitchen by consistently looking to improve the menu, producing quality food, incorporating local dishes into the menu and working closely with cafe managers in the overall food and beverage operations of the cafe. Responsibilities
- Making quality food with consistency
- Oversee the hygiene of the kitchen and managing the kitchen finances.
- Oversee menu creation
- Train junior personnel
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts
- 3+ years of kitchen experience
- Experience in leading and supervising junior chefs
- Experience working within budget constraints
- Working experience in a cafe
