At Razorpod, we don’t just build; we create impact-driven solutions that empower businesses to scale and thrive.  Job Description: Senior QA Engineer (5+ Years of Experience) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation tools such as Playwright, Karate, and Selenium, along with manual testing experience utilizing Zephyr, JIRA, and Rally. This role also involves active collaboration with Business Analysts to assist in creating user stories and participating in defect triage activities. Key Responsibilities: • Automation Testing: o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Karate, and Selenium. o Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams. o Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing, regression testing, and API testing. • Manual Testing: o Develop and execute detailed manual test cases to ensure high coverage for all features. o Document and track defects in tools like Zephyr, JIRA, and Rally, ensuring timely resolution. o Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues. • Collaboration & Communication: o Assist Business Analysts in creating clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. o Schedule and actively participate in defect triage meetings, ensuring accurate prioritization and assignment of defects. o Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, resolve ambiguities, and deliver quality solutions. • Quality Assurance & Improvement: o Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, integration, and system testing. o Identify areas for process improvement within QA practices and implement best practices. o Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality and innovation. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance. • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright, Karate, and Selenium. • Strong background in manual testing with expertise in tools like Zephyr, JIRA, and Rally. • Proven ability to assist in creating user stories and acceptance criteria with Business Analysts. • Experience with scheduling and leading defect triage calls, ensuring clear communication and resolution tracking. • Solid understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman or Karate. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC. Preferred Skills: • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus. .
