As a Remote Loan Tele-Collection Associate , your role involves collecting payments on overdue bills by informing customers about their debts and repayment options. If agreeable payment terms are not reached, you will take further action to collect the debts. Key Responsibilities : Make Calls to Clients : Locate and contact clients primarily via phone (home, work, or mobile) to discuss their overdue debts. Negotiate Payment Schedules : Work with customers to establish repayment plans that suit their financial situation while ensuring debt recovery. Advise Customers : Provide information on payment options and notify customers of potential further actions if no agreement is reached. Maintain Customer Files : Update and manage customer files, recording all interactions and debt-related information. Prepare Statements : Prepare statements for credit departments and banks when payment agreements are not met. Write Letters : Draft letters to inform customers about their debts and to other entities if agreements are not met. Answer Phones : Handle incoming calls from customers and other individuals, addressing their queries. Requirements :

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Education : Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or Masters Degree.
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in collections.
  • Prior experience with auto dialers is required.
Experience :
  • Collection/Debt Recovery : 1 year (Required)
  • Auto Dialer : 1 year (Required)
Incentives :  Eligible for performance-based incentives Interview Process :  Shortlisted candidates will need to attend an in-person interview. Work Schedule : Choose from two shifts : 9 AM to 1 PM or 2 PM to 6 PM Maximum of 20 hours per week. Training :  One week of training required. Contract Details :  This is a contract position with no statutory payments.
