Our startup and Founder has been highlighted in the WSJ, Bloomberg, Economist and other leading publications. Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role focuses on equities, crypto, and factor analysis, blending rigorous research with deployment and production responsibilities. You will work closely with our investment and tech teams to develop data-driven insights and contribute directly to our investment strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on equities, crypto assets, and factors influencing market behavior.
- Develop, test, and deploy data models using Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Integrate and manage APIs, and set up interactive dashboards for real-time data visualization.
- Utilize quantitative finance libraries (Pandas, NumPy, QuantLib) for data manipulation and model development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science insights into our broader investment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on financial markets.
- Proficiency in Python, including deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn).
- Demonstrated experience in integrating APIs and building user-friendly dashboards.
- A proven track record of competing in data science competitions (e.g., Kaggle) is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative finance and statistical analysis, including experience with relevant libraries (Pandas, NumPy, QuantLib).
