Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic analyst to join our Insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of our investor relations strategy, focusing on financial analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting : Develop and maintain a robust understanding of key business drivers and metrics. (be goal-oriented)
- Consolidate, analyse and review operating & financial results to ensure high quality insight that supports decision making
- Financial modelling and valuation for strategic projects
- Collect and analyze sell-side estimates, maintain the consensus model, and work with reporting entities (e.g., CapIQ, Bloomberg, etc.) to ensure accurate consensus.
- Maintaining and calculating essential data used in IR reporting (performance, AUM, investor statistics)
- Monitor analyst research reports and news flow about the company, its competitors, and the broader industry; synthesize key takeaways for management.
- In addition, you’d be expected to:
- Articulate your thoughts for communicating industry insights and themes to stakeholders
- Be an out-of-the-box thinker as you come up with new and more efficient ways to conduct research by leveraging technology
- Be highly detail oriented as you ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring high quality and ethical standards
- Be a self-starter and comfortable working with a virtual team (clients, stakeholders and team members are across the globe)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or Business Administration; CFA or MBA (Finance) is a plus
- 16 – 24 months of experience in financial analysis, investor relations, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements, metrics, and financial modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
