Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer LOCATION Remote – Anywhere in the world. ABOUT SMARTER.CODES We are an AI startup and realize that Natural Language isn’t being understood by computers as sci-fi promised us. Started in 2014, Smarter. Codes earned clientele and appreciation from prestigious enterprises like Target Inc, Ford Motors, Tech Mahindra, Bank of Montreal, Delivery.com, TheMindGym, and likes. Bootstrapped during the first 3 years of its inception, and angel funded in 2017. Smarter.Codes is navigated by 2 serial entrepreneur brothers and distinguished advisors across the globe - including mentors from the camps of 500 Startups, Alchemist Accelerator. Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
2. Hands-on experience with at least one backend framework: FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
3. Expertise in frontend technologies: React or Next.js.
4. Knowledge of No-Code AI/LLM tools for data extraction and response formatting.
5. LLM Promt Engineering
6. Experience with vector databases like Milvus, Weaviate, or Pinecone.
7. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases: MongoDB or MySQL.

People and Communication Skills:

1. Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and reports.
2. Effective verbal communication to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Education: You may have a few years of experience. OR You are fresh out of college – but you have already spent a few years in programming during your college. Any grades are fine. Dropouts welcome! Practice: You have single-handedly coded at least 5 decent-sized projects – with you alone in the team. OS choice: You love using your Linux desktop for writing code. You have spent at least a few months facing Linux terminals Habits: You read a lot. You confidently understand every word of Technical Documentation. Scarce Documentation is not a problem for you. Attitude: You often say ‘I do not know when you are in doubt. And you have longing to ‘be sure’. WHAT YOU GET Salary : Somewhere between ₹6,00,000 to ₹12,00,000 per annum (depending on your work experience Stock options: Once you complete 3 years with us you may receive stock options in one of our startups as a bonus (we are aiming for at least half of the team at Smarter. Codes to have stock options). This can even be double-digit equity in a “wannabe unicorn startup”! People : A mix of geeky, frugal, and seasoned professionals to work with. See who you would be working with on a daily basis. This could be a lot of learning! Paid leaves: 24 days in a year. Pick the dates for yourselves when you wish to stay unavailable. Cater to your social/personal engagements with ease, or make your own holiday calendar Flexibility: To work from anywhere and anytime during the week. With a minimum of 40 working hours a week.
