Regional Sales & Marketing Manager (Textile Machinery)

ALIDHRA WEAVETECH is one of the largest TWISTING & WINDING Textile machinery manufacturer in India. The company has one of the largest product ranges covering a wide range of Industry verticals. Company is looking for a self-motivated & driven leader who can establish & run operations for an entire Tamilnadu & Karnataka region. Broad activities would include:
- Strategizing, preparing & executing sales plans.
- Building relationships to increase the depth of company’s network through personal visits.
- Increase awareness about company’s products to ultimately increase sales.
- Generate leads-inquiries & follow it through to generate new business.
- Report daily plans & activities to HO.
- Active & disciplined follow-ups.
- You have 15+ years of experience in Textile Machinery Vertical, either in sales, service or both.
- You have a proven track record which shows that you’ve an extensive network with decision makers at board-level in the Textile Spinning / Weaving Industry.
- You have excellent taste in storytelling & are a great conversationalist.
- You’re organized, disciplined & self-driven to get things done.
- You've set and led a team for sales & motivated them to achieve targets before and want to do it again at Weavetech.
- You’re an excellent conversationalist who can make traditionally boring topics in B2B interesting.
- You’re great at helping customers see a bigger picture and the value that you can add to it.
- You are ambitious and driven to lead and achieve.
- People from the sales backgrounds are highly preferred. Mixed work background including consulting, marketing & servicing could also work if you have relevant experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales/marketing roles is preferred but if you’re exceptional at what you do, you could also be a little less experienced.
- Weavetech primarily works in the Machinery-building area of textile industry. Our products are high value & a standard deal cycle is anywhere between 2-6 months. We are 3 decades old and focus on offering right value at right price. It is still a family managed business in a transition phase to become more professional in it’s working & management. We’ve a very closed knit team and appreciate achievements & deliveries over actual worktimes. Flexible timings are not a problem as long as it does not discourage team work & synergy.
