Application Engineer

This position is targeted at all Vehicle Application engineers who seek a challenge in our Vehicle development -ADS ESC -ECU team. Roles and Responsibilities: Understanding ABS/ESP Systems Understanding of Vehicle Test Plans and Vehicle Test Procedures Review traces, compile data and fine tune Carry out vehicle Validation of ABS/ESP in Winter/Summer Surfaces (With support from ADS) Support to Customer/ADS team for Homolgation Certification Carry out Vehicle Pre homologation Test before giving the vehicle to Test agency for Homologation Reporting to the team leader and client during the development of the project. Take responsibility of testing & calibrating the (ABS, TCS, ESP) in the vehicle. Evaluating vehicle performance after calibration changes Support maturation of SW functions during the development phase Vehicle level diagnostics and problem solving. Manage the assigned tasks and reports failure, bugs, and anomalies to the relevant teams. Perform analysis of data captured from the vehicle tests using vector tools. Generate test reports and documentation Supporting the release of software to production in line with project timing Additional qualifications (Not Mandatory) Carry out calibration of ABS /ESP in winter/summer surfaces (with support from ADS) In case of not meeting validation requirements, Recalibrate and Validate, confirm until meeting requirements Basic Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer science, Automotive engineering, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years working in the automotive OEM or tier 1 industry in a similar role. Strong experience in vehicle dynamics testing at proving grounds.. Experience in handling Vehicle Validations and Homologations for ABS/ESP Systems (Min 3yrs) Experience in handling ABS & YSC Calibrations Min (2 yrs) Good knowledge in handling data loggers and Instruments used in Vehicle Fair knowledge in handling calibration tools and software Good knowledge on Automotive Vehicle Controls Good knowledge and handling of vehicles on Homologation standards in India and export models A full valid driver’s license is needed. Good Vehicle Dynamics /Skills in Slip Control products like ABS, ESP etc Good Knowledge on Braking Systems & ABS & ESP Systems Good driving and Manoeuvres Skills in ABS/ESP Systems
