Corporate HR Manager, SEA
So what does a People Strategist (Corporate HR Manager) for SEA really do? Think of yourself as the one who’ll manage, plan, direct, or coordinate the Corporate Human Resource activities in the region. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will partner with the business and functional stakeholders to establish and execute Human Resources Strategies. You will also help formulate initiatives to improve ESAT that drives maximum employee satisfaction. As a People Strategist , you will:- Provide end-to-end HR services to the Corporate group - Support and Executive employees in the SouthEast Asia region.
- Create, rewrite, and implement employee rules, regulations, and policies that would govern our employees’ standards of behavior aligned to the Global Policies of the Company.
- Be in charge of terminations and provide exit interviews.
- Have an effective partnership with the internal teams (leadership, Operations, marketing, People Operations, Recruitment, Finance etc.) to ensure the success of the People Strategy Department.
- Work with the legal team on any and all documentation and/or compliance matters (i.e. Ministry of Labor, other regulatory agencies) as well as in instances where labor litigation is needed.
- Attend meetings and issues with a keen eye, strong follow-up system, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and with a get-it-done attitude.
- Report directly to the Director of People Strategy of SEA and will be responsible for co-building a strong HR team for the region.
- Be responsible for the orientation of new staff members, and training as needed.
- Ensure that the TaskUs Core Values are inculcated into each and every Support employee in the region.
- At least 8 years relevant experience in Human Resource Management from the BPO industry.
- Depth of knowledge in strategic planning, employee relations, and labor litigation in different countries across the APAC region.
- Experience in the BPO industry and working with multi-jurisdictional teams.
- Knowledgeable in preparing project proposals and progress reports.
- Excellent communication skills with exemplary critical thinking.
- Someone who embodies our Core Values.
- Problem-solving capabilities while providing excellent HR services to internal stakeholders.
- Able to work remotely but travel to different locations as needed.
