Web Designer (Freelancer/Contract)

• Design and develop responsive, interactive websites with a strong focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups based on project requirements and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Maintain brand consistency across all projects by adhering to brand guidelines.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide creative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Web Designer.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge on AWS is a plus).
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
• A solid portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards.
