Job details
Overall Objective The Head of Project will be responsible for managing a group of Project Engineers as well as projects for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system programming in accordance to required standards. The Head of Project reports to the Technical Director and delivers the project with the direct support of the project implementation team and the Project Management Office. Core Responsibilities Lead a project team of internal and/or external resources to deliver specified projects within agreed parameters. Manage the end to end solution delivery of projects, in the scope of best-practice. Implement and enforced best-practice project methodology and processes to the team, with the objective of better management and implementation of projects. Work closely with cross divisional teams, department heads and Sales Manager(s) to develop business cases and other project documentation for projects being managed as part of the company direction. Work closely with the Sales and Pre-Sales Departments to ensure that the Project development is in-line with the overall business project plan and timelines Develop and actively manage project plans in line with company standards to ensure solutions are delivered within agreed parameters Take appropriate corrective action to ensure delivery remains on track Manage the project spend within approved budget Manage relationships across all business lines and with external parties, defining requirements, agreeing terms and ensuring delivery Plan and manage internal and external project resources to ensure delivery of project outputs within agreed parameters Identify and raising risks and issues affecting the project, including financial or operation and proactively managing them, i.e. mitigation, or escalating to relevant parties where necessary Provide progress reports as required Support and adhere to the execution and delivery as per the project management methodology, standards and processes as set up by the department Relationship management with external partner(s), communicate effectively and keep control of deliverables. Primary Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years related experience with demonstrable record of success Good communicator with excellent coordination skills Ability to work with multiple discipline projects Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science or its equivalents Possess good leadership and organizing abilities Experience in the Security and CCTV industry and exposure to products and operations will be an added advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
