We're in search of an internship candidate with interest in front-office or trading risk management settings at a buy-side firm. This role will sit within the Risk Management team and help risk managers with all perspectives of their day to day works. It is a rare opportunity for someone who has ambition to work in the hedge fund or institutional investment industry to learn first-hand financial products knowledge and gain true experience of working in finance. Although no previous work experience is required, it is expected that the role will receive intense training on the job from both Equity and FICC sides, for example, helping risk managers with data analysis, report generation, risk and market monitoring and tool development. The role will have a wide range of exposure to almost all liquidity financial products and various hedge fund strategies. It suits someone with a strong math and tech background who wishes to excel in a fast-paced work environment. It is not too remote a possibility that this role becomes permanent after the contractual period if conditions are met. Key Responsibilities Help risk management team with routine daily processes Help develop and improve risk management infrastructure and tools Help monitor market and risks Help with products modelling, performance attribution and other data analysis Involved in discussions with portfolio managers and senior management Requirements Major in STEM subjects with minimum target or achieved GPA 3.5/4 or equivalent Good numerical knowledge and skills Some coding experience either through university courses or self-learned e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL etc. Self-driven, eager to learn and results oriented Good communication and team worker Nice-to-Haves Good to have some financial markets knowledge but not essential Good to have some database knowledge or experience but not essential To apply, email CV to careers@arrowpointfund.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
