Job Category: Social Worker Job Type: Contract Full Time Job Location: Simei About Restorative Care Department: Restorative Care Department ( RCD ) was started in 2006, with one Family Resource Centre located within Prison Link Centre (Changi) specializing in serving offenders, ex-offenders, and their families through a variety of programmes. Case Management Services (CMS) was launched in 2019 to provide short-term case management for releasing inmates. Its objectives are to assist clients and their families with reintegration into society, offer individual support and guidance for transitioning back into the community, and address criminogenic needs to prevent re-offending and relapse. Responsibilities: Provide information and referral services for offenders, ex-offenders, and/or their next of kin. Conduct risk assessments, social investigations, case formulation, and intervention planning. Timely preparation and submission of reports and case recordings. Conduct meetings, sessions, workshops, and programmes for offenders, ex-offenders, and/or their next of kin. Cover office duties at various centres as required. Requirements: Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution. At least two (2) years of experience working in a similar setting (e.g., social service agencies). Comfortable working with offenders and ex-offenders in Police and Prison settings. Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Required to work on weeknights and weekends as needed. Maturity, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to work with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds. Able to develop empathy, reflective capacity, and self-awareness. Adaptive with multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Personal effectiveness, independence, and good time management. Strong writing skills. A team player. Work Location: Simei #J-18808-Ljbffr
