Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Functions Perform billing and collections. Prepare the monthly resident aging report and issue reminder letters for payment. Accounts Payable Functions Process invoices and payments, verify invoices to ensure they are recorded correctly in the accounting system, and make timely payments. Perform reconciliation of supplier statements. Donations Management Check and download donation data from online platforms. Update donor information in the IRAS DMS online portal. Generate tax receipts for individuals and corporations, distinguishing between tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible donations. Submit donation records to IRAS before 31 January each year. Balance Sheet Account Schedules Prepare monthly schedules for all balance sheet accounts. Review and follow up with the respective account owners regarding the clearance of aged items. Liaison with Internal and External Parties Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on various accounting matters, particularly during year-end audits and the annual statistics survey. Ad hoc duties Assist and be involved in the annual budgeting and forecasting exercise. Assist in reviewing financial policies and procedures on internal controls. Handle any other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Educational Background : Minimum Diploma in Accounting. Experience : 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in the healthcare sector. Knowledge : Familiar with partial to full sets of accounts. Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Navision. This role demands a strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
