Government Confidential is looking to hire a Senior HRIS Specialist Full Time On-site Job Description: The Senior HRIS Specialist at our confidential government operates at a mid-career level and serves as a vital nexus between Human Resources (HR) operations and information system efficiencies. This individual will champion HR project management initiatives with an emphasis on process automation and optimization, leveraging Oracle HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS). The role requires acute analytical prowess to conduct regular data analysis, driving continuous improvement across HR functions. The Senior HRIS Specialist will create and maintain comprehensive manuals and procedural documents, thereby upholding stringent standards of consistency and compliance with HR best practices. Equipped with a strategic vision and a detail-oriented mindset, the role commands meticulous project management, robust knowledge of Oracle HRIS modules, and a commitment to safeguarding sensitive employee data, all within the secured confines of a confidential government agency. Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS, preferably within a government or related security-sensitive sector.
  2. Proven track record in HR project management involving process automation and system improvements.
  3. Strong experience with Oracle HRIS platforms, particularly Oracle E-Business Suite.
  4. Extensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and the ability to translate findings into actionable process enhancements.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in developing HRIS-related documentation, procedural manuals, and best practice guidelines.
  6. Proficiency in ensuring data integrity and compliance within HRIS, adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
  7. Acute understanding of HR operations and their intersection with technology to foster a synergistic environment.
  8. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  9. Relevant HRIS or HR certification (e.g., Professional in Human Resources (PHR), HR Information Management System Professionals (HRIP)) is preferred but not essential.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee HRIS projects with a focus on process automation using Oracle HRIS solutions to enhance HR operational efficiency.
  2. Conduct deep-dive analyses into existing HR data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  3. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure that HRIS implementations and upgrades meet organizational needs while maintaining system performance and data security.
  4. Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of HRIS documentation, ensuring all procedures meet high standards and are communicated effectively.
  5. Train HR staff on new processes and HRIS functionalities, fostering a knowledgeable and competent HR workforce.
  6. Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle HRIS, offering troubleshooting support and strategic insights.
  7. Continually monitor HRIS trends and innovations, proposing relevant adaptations for the agency.
  8. Coordinate with HR leadership to ensure that HRIS strategies align with agency objectives and compliance requirements.
  9. Facilitate change management initiatives as they relate to the integration of HRIS updates or new technology.
