Job Description As Director of Sales for International Leisure Sales, you will report to the Group Director of Sales of FRS Makkah Complex to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. You will develop the sales group and groom a high-performing sales team. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Main Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and oversee the sales colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring sales action plans are regularly reviewed.
  2. Ensure all customers’ requirements are determined and met.
  3. Actively promote an awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
  4. Manage top producing accounts within the segment, focusing on high-end suite business.
  5. Ensure all relevant systems are updated with client information, production, and sales activities.
  6. Achieve or exceed established sales targets.
  7. Handle daily sales operations matters.
  8. Evaluate respective markets and their needs, comparing them with existing products and services.
  9. Recommend necessary sales action plans or procedure revisions to increase production.
  10. Assist Group Director of Sales with the production of annual Sales Plans and hotel budgets.
  11. Advise Group Director of Sales regarding sales progress and booking trends.
  12. Responsible for the Leisure industry segments.
  13. Attend overseas sales trips and road shows as required.
  14. Establish measurable quality objectives and participate in their review.
  15. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to colleagues to meet customer and hotel needs.
  16. Determine necessary competencies for colleagues and provide relevant training.
  17. Monitor all Leisure incentive programs ensuring departmental awareness of roles and responsibilities.
  18. Achieve and exceed budgeted room nights and revenue goals annually.
  19. Utilize the marketing plan to uncover new and potential business.
  20. Ensure accuracy in forecasting revenues.
  21. Assist Sales/Catering/Convention services in obtaining necessary customer information.
  22. Participate in daily/weekly Revenue meetings, sales strategy meetings, and pre-convention meetings.
Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of the local market.
  2. Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  3. A passion for sales and target-based performance.
  4. Relevant degree in sales, business development, or a related field.
  5. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  6. Commitment to high levels of customer service.
  7. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  8. Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators.
  9. Excellent selling capabilities and coaching skills.
  10. Excellent organizational and planning skills.

  13. Ability to work well under time pressure and demanding travel schedules.
  14. Demonstrated previous experience in a Director of Sales role with proven ability to close sales.
