Power Plant Process Engineer Location: Riyadh, Ar Riyad, SA Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Power Plant Process Engineer to optimize and enhance the performance of our power plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, expertise in power plant systems, and the ability to analyze and improve operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance. Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent). Training: In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems. Minimum Experience Required: A minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize power plant processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor the performance of plant equipment and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow and problem resolution.
- Design and implement process modifications to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct root cause analyses to address equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on process performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and operational challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems.
- Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to power plant operations.
