Job description We have a current opportunity for a Lead of Procurement COMP3 Shared Resources on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply. Required Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 10 years procurement Management/supervisory experience on Major Projects
  2. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  3. Demonstrate understanding of procurement best practices
  4. Intermediate to Expert Equipment and Materials Purchasing Skills (e.g. engineered equipment/bulks)
  5. Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation and communication skills
  6. Ability to operate autonomously on a result orientated basis handling multiple diverse tasks
Key Accountabilities
  1. Works to assure a Procurement & Materials program that meets the needs of the project, is cost-effective, expedient, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Establish and maintain alignment with the PMT and Contractor on project procurement needs, objectives, and requirements, including compliance with project procurement processes and procedures.
  3. Plan for effective use of Contractor’s materials management system. Ensure Contractor effectively manages procurement interfaces, appraise Contractor’s performance and enhance as appropriate. Resolve any materials-related claims. Cooperate with IPR and audit teams with respect to procurement. Ensure orderly turnover of project (with regards to procurement) to the operating organization.
  4. Provide Spare Parts Coordination for the project, interface with project overall Spare Parts Coordinator for planning, processes, expectations and to align synergies. Furthermore, establish and implement plan for spare parts management and acquisition.
  5. Provide oversight of the RSPL spare parts related activities including obtaining the Required Spare Parts List (RSPL) data.
