THE POSITION This role supports the Marketing & Communications department in carrying out various strategies and tasks, compiling analyses and reports. This position will appeal to a highly motivated, flexible individual who enjoys working to pre-agreed goals in a busy and changing environment. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role will require assisting in the execution of Marketing and PR activities with proficiency, as well as providing administrative support across all facets of the Marketing & Communications department. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
PR
- Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, develop all materials and assist the PR team with ongoing media efforts.
- Review hotel press kits, fact-checking and editing as required.
- Assemble press kits and giveaways for press trips.
- Assist in the coordination of journalist stays, dining, and spa reviews with concerned departments.
- Write and distribute press releases for both hotels, maintaining an up-to-date monthly report of activities.
- Assist in the coordination of specific functions, promotions, and client/media events.
- Assist in the coordination of photoshoot requirements.
- Champion CSR activities.
- Work jointly with the Cluster Sales & Marketing team to promote and maximize marketing programs in specific markets.
- Assist with outlet-related promotions, gathering information from the concerned department.
MARKETING
Under the guidance of the Director of Communication, assist in developing collaterals required to support the commercial process. This will range from hotel brochures to photoshoots, filming, site tours, and the raising of necessary documentation for specific promotional requirements:- Manage all activities within the Marketing & Communications department, ensuring all brand and editorial standards are followed.
- Liaise with appointed agencies, supplying a written brief outlining the specific objectives, target market, and any additional information as required, ensuring that stakeholders are kept aware of all progress.
- Collate and develop monthly reports.
- Oversee photo and video shoots for the hotel and seasonal campaigns.
- Administer the Marketing & Communications operations budget; support the development of marketing budgets and maintain all financial tracking documents.
- Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, public relations, or a related professional area.
- An experienced communications expert; a dynamic and self-driven creative individual.
- A passionate individual with experience in marketing; traditional & digital, as well as e-commerce.
- Strong luxury hotel background or luxury brand background is preferred.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
