About us We're on a mission to enable industrial companies to establish real-time autonomous decision-making in their planning and scheduling processes. While the amount of available data is growing in industrial companies, it is rarely used to its full potential. Our software has the capability to transform the scheduling and planning processes, especially in production facilities all around the world. We work with some of the largest industrial companies of the process industry. Combined with our recent strong funding round, it is time to extend our core team to get ready for the next scaling challenges About the role As a Founders Associate - Finance & ESG, you will play a critical role in establishing robust financial and controlling processes, enabling the company to maintain transparency, efficiency, and compliance with emerging ESG requirements. This position offers a unique blend of strategic, operational, and sustainability-driven tasks, supporting our growth journey in a dynamic startup environment. What You'll Achieve

• Develop and optimize internal controlling processes, including tool selection and implementation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as budget and liquidity planning.
• Support founders in future financing rounds and due diligence.
• Develop ESG reporting processes based on recognized standards (e.g., SASB).
• Create ESG reports and documentation for internal and external purposes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and requirements.
• Act as a discussion partner for financial and strategic questions.
• Prepare materials for pitches, financing discussions, and strategic decisions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as needed.
• Take over strategic projects for the development of the company in various areas.

Skills You'll Need To Bring

• A degree in business administration, finance, controlling, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in controlling, reporting, or financial management, ideally in a startup/consulting or dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, DATEV, or similar financial and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and hands-on mentality.
• Ability to proactively manage multiple projects and drive them to completion.
• Strong communication skills to present complex financial insights clearly and effectively.
• Passion for numbers, data-driven decisions, and technical contexts.

• Familiarity with ESG topics and standards.
• Experience implementing and optimizing financial tools in growing companies.

Compensation We are prepared to offer a competitive salary package of up to 65,000€ annually. Additionally, we provide a Deutschland Ticket for public transport and a wellpass (eGym) membership for just 10€ per month. Remote Work Policy Our team is currently growing, so we are all meeting three days a week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday). This policy is likely to change in the future based on team feedback and collaboration processes.
