About the Role (Your Why): We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our high-performance Professional Services team. This is a customer-facing consulting position that requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with our customers and within Datacom. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Professional Services experience with external customers and exposure to all aspects of delivering projects, including consulting, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. These values create a culture we can be proud of and reinforce our focus on our customers, who remain at the heart of what we do. ** Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve a Baseline PEIC or NV1 security clearance (no criminal convictions and citizenship) ** What You’ll Do: As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will be focused on: Working closely with our Customers, Partners, Sales, and Technical teams. Ensuring assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, to agreed scope. Serving as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions, either remotely or on-site. Providing pre-sales support and expertise to the sales team. We are a pretty agile company, keen to respond to customer, technology, and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements, which means we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What You’ll Bring: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with external enterprise customers in delivering projects in professional services environments. You must have experience with design, implementation, and optimization of: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange. Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AHV). Backup (Commvault, Veeam) OR Storage (HPE, Net App, Lenovo & Dell). Automation and Scripting (Power Shell, Python). You will have a curiosity & passion for customers and a proven ability to communicate solutions in a way that resonates with all levels of our customers. You must be comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
