About the role As an IT Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering tailored IT solutions that meet our clients' technical and business needs. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure the successful deployment of IT projects, particularly focusing on cloud and virtual desktop solutions, network architecture, and security best practices. Your role will involve contributing to pre-sales discussions, developing technical solutions, plus overseeing and driving implementation. What you'll do Solution Design : Develop and design IT solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Pre-Sales Support : Work with the sales team to identify client needs, present technical solutions, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates. Virtual Desktop Solutions : Assist in designing and managing virtual desktop solutions, including Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, ensuring reliability and security. Cloud Architecture : Design and implement cloud-based solutions with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Security and Compliance : Apply knowledge of security standards such as the Essential 8 to ensure compliance in all solutions. Project Execution : Oversee the deployment of IT solutions, working with project managers to ensure successful and timely delivery. Technical Escalation : Act as an escalation point for technical issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting and solution development for more complex problems. Client Interaction : Collaborate with clients throughout the solution delivery process, offering technical guidance and ensuring that their needs are met. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures. Continuous Learning : Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends to bring innovative solutions to our clients. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience : 4 years in IT solution architecture, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment. Technical Skills :Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements, including Essential 8. Solid understanding of network architecture, security, and virtualization. Certifications : Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or other equivalent certifications are desirable. Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to clients and team members. Problem-Solving : Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Project Management : Experience with managing or contributing to IT projects. Virtual Environments : Knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop. #J-18808-Ljbffr
