Job Location : Lagos Deadline : February 10, 2025 Quick Recommended Links Job Summary- Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of their water and waste water treatment facilities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for environmental sustainability.
- Monitor and control the daily operations of the ETP and WTP, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize water and wastewater flow.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment breakdowns and optimize plant efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor water and wastewater quality parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement corrective actions to improve water and wastewater quality.
- Collect and analyze data on plant performance, energy consumption, and chemical usage.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including energy consumption, and chemical usage.
- Generate regular reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by line managers
- Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in ETP/WTP operations, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment principles, processes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
