The ideal candidate will lead efforts in automating, deploying, and optimizing our frontend application infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. This role requires a blend of expertise in frontend development best practices and DevOps principles, with a strong focus on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of DevOps pipelines for frontend applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to implement automated build, testing, and deployment solutions.
- Develop and maintain frontend application environments using modern tools and frameworks.
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability of frontend applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage cloud-based resources for frontend systems.
- Establish best practices for monitoring and logging in frontend environments, leveraging appropriate tools.
- Lead incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution for frontend infrastructure issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend engineers, and QA to ensure streamlined delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and DevOps strategies for frontend engineering.
- Proficiency in frontend development using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize frontend build pipelines.
- Familiarity with frontend performance testing tools and security best practices.
- Excellent understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies.
