About the Role The position is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of Chief Investment Officer’s target operating model with a focus on investment-linked funds, which includes: Investment solutioning/ proposition and implementation. Investment performance monitoring and reporting. Investment analytics in supporting investment solution or strategy formulation. Support and contribute towards the overall growth in the ILP funds business in AIA Singapore. Participate in the development and implementation of new funds and enhancements of existing funds. This includes working with internal and/or external stakeholders on fund selection/ creation, portfolio construction, obtaining the necessary approvals. Ensure the compliance of funds to regulatory requirements as well as internal guidelines. Work with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop content on new funds and updates on existing funds for circulation to distribution channels and/or end clients. Responsible for the end-to-end implementation process for funds. Ensure efficient processes and controls are in place to support growth. Conduct analysis on market trends and competitive landscape to drive fund proposition in line with key business objectives. Provide investment analytical support which includes research, data computation and analysis. Produce reports for management reporting to Investment Committee meetings, EXCO, RCE meetings and various internal and external reporting. Minimum Job Requirements: Education: At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, financial engineering, data analytics, statistics, math, economics or actuarial science. Masters degrees and/or additional professional qualifications such as CFA preferred. Experience and key skill set: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Investment, Asset Management or Insurance industry. Strong interest in investment management, investment analysis, and project management. Collaborative, communicative, responsible, and a strong team player is a must. Ability to deal with tight timelines and different stakeholders is a must. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; accuracy and detail oriented; excellent communication skills; able to articulate and verbalise thoughts, ideas, and reasoning. Familiar with Bloomberg, Morningstar and MS office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. Positive and energetic with high potential. Presentable and independent thinker. The incumbent is also required to perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor or HOD in order to meet other requirements/responsibilities of the Investment team.
