Responsibilities:

  1. Support organizing and executing the annual refresh of the ERM Framework and Roadmap, including facilitating the workshops, proposing new components, and editing the documents.
  2. Update and maintain the ERM Framework and Roadmap as needed for business, regulatory and market changes.
  3. Support the creation, establishment and maintenance of programs related to risk management, corporate governance or regulations.
  4. Maintain policies, processes and procedures reflecting the program.
  5. Facilitate effective risk assessments of new products and services, both pre-launch and post-implementation, to evaluate if they align with the firm's strategic direction and established risk appetite.
  6. Assist the program sponsors as needed to drive consistency in the documentation of risk assessments and reporting.
  7. Work in areas that support monitoring and managing risks in IT information security, Finance, and M&E to ensure compliance with risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Prepare materials and document decisions arising from relevant management and board governance committees.
  9. Maintain strong and effective relationship with stakeholders across the company, cross-functionally and collaboratively, to ensure effective risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
  10. Work on clear, accurate and timely reports for regulatory entities, senior management and the Audit Committee/ Board of Directors. Document policies, procedures, processes and internal controls.
  11. Assist on the development and deployment of risk, regulatory and internal policy compliance programs.
  12. Work with business owners to ensure adequate controls/testing are in place and validate on frequent basis the efficacy of the controls.
  13. Support the risk and compliance infrastructure through process, tool adoption, compliance metrics and reporting.
  14. Assist with formulating Corporate Quality Policy and ensure regular review and update of the same and evaluate and assess current processes to identify risks or areas of operational weaknesses, recommend, and develop effective solutions.
  15. Assist with internal and external quality audits/other audits as necessary.
  16. Participate in compliance investigations and coordinate with the business at all levels to ensure implementation of appropriate corrective and/or preventative actions to close out issues.
  17. Support the initiation, facilitation, and promotion of activities to foster effective compliance awareness.
  18. Development of an annual briefing report to the Board of Directors highlighting main achievements and activities of the year, deep dives in the risk register and major future plan.
  19. Support corporate ERM & Quality Manager in working with business leaders to ensure corporate policies and procedures soundness and governance.
  20. Perform any other related duties as directed by the immediate Supervisor/Manager.
  21. Support in formulating a quality policy and ensure regular review.
  22. Assist in managing quality awareness and quality training programs in all entities and areas to support effective deployment of Sadara's Quality Management System.
  23. Support to coordinate with all concerned entities to develop Quality Control Systems in their respective areas of operations, such as customer communications and feedback, purchasing, supplier evaluation, contract management, tendering activities, inspections, calibrations and data analysis, human resources and Management Control.
  24. Provide input and assist in the preparation of impact analysis for newly recommended changes in current operations and processes.
  25. Assist to ensure that all recommended corrective actions regarding current deficiencies and weaknesses are properly implemented and report to the Management on non-compliance issue.
  26. Support in formulating a quality policy and ensure regular review and updating of the same.
  27. Assist in managing quality awareness and quality training programs in all entities and areas to support effective deployment of Sadara's Quality Management System.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Preferred Chemical engineering or science degree. This position requires understanding of the operations of the company, integration of different departments, internal & external controls and business environment dynamics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
