We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres, which stretches from Halifax in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. About the position MMCNQ is growing! We are seeking a Compliance Partner in a newly created role to work alongside our team in managing compliance across our Kindergartens, Early Learning Centres, and Outside School Hours Care services. Your role will ensure statutory requirements are met, while supporting high-quality and inclusive environments that prioritise the health and wellbeing of children. The position is on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week commencing as soon as practicable and will be located at our Townsville office. This position reports directly to the Regulation and Compliance Manager. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in the development of systems and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance across services, fostering quality learning environments. Perform routine compliance checks and unannounced service visits to assess adherence to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and document findings. Identify, report, and track non-compliance issues, working closely with Service Leaders to facilitate improvements. Stay informed about the latest childcare regulations, amendments, and industry best practices, and share updates with the team. Provide training and support to Educators, ensuring they have a strong understanding of compliance requirements. Act as a subject matter expert, offering advice and guidance to Services and Managers regarding compliance matters. Partner with the Operations Manager and Service Leaders to regularly update on compliance status and initiatives. What you’ll need to succeed: Diploma qualifications in Early Education and Care or a related discipline, or significant experience in policy development within the sector. Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card). Proven knowledge of the Education and Care Services Act, National Regulations, the Early Years Learning Framework (NQF and NQS), and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Strong research, investigative, and analytical skills to produce reports and professional documents. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders. This role will require travel from time to time to our regional centres and the ability to attend after hours service staff meetings where required.
