A leading Data Centre provider is currently looking for a Shift Technician WITH HV EXPERIENCE to join an existing team within one of their operational Data Centres based in Slough. Due to exponential growth witnessed in the industry the client is looking to build out there current team with a view to internal promotions. A Data Centre Shift Technician operates on a continental shift pattern where you will be responsible for the buildings’ Electrical and Mechanical systems, both from a preventative and reactive maintenance perspective; change management and incident management are also key elements of this role. This is a great opportunity for people with HV experience looking for a new challenge as this is a growing industry and a great career path. To be considered for the Data Centre Technician role you MUST have the following:
- HV Experience (preferably HVAP)
- Previous Electrical OR Mechanical training
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Some form of security clearance
- Right to work in the UK
- First Aid Experience
- Fire Marshal experience
- Knowledge of NICEIC certification and documenting requirements
- Risk Assessment understanding
- LVAP (can be trained)
