SQL Database Administrator

Experience - 5 to 12 Must-Have:

• Manage, Redesign and Modularize existing data model as necessary.

Exp. in RDBMS, all databases Expert on SQL, relational databases, and data modelling Manage data replication for QA and Data Analytics Responsible for solution designs and documentation for projects.

• Responsible for enhancement or solution designs, documentation and/or training team members on new technologies
• Implement, monitor and report on infra projects and coordinate with global/regional/local support groups and vendors.
• Responsible for configuration and implementation of databases backups. Configure, setup, maintain database security and auditing. Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
• Find improvements and efficiencies in application database access performance, and review with code developers
• Provide development of database objects tables, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, indexes and triggers in coordination with web code development
• Develop new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and design database structures to be efficiently queried
• Implement and maintain database security,

Database Management: Administer and maintain cloud-based databases, including setup, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of database instances. - Performance Optimization: Analyze database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness for end-users. - Security Management: Implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking, to protect sensitive information and comply with industry standards and regulations. - Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data continuity and disaster recovery preparedness - Capacity Planning: Monitor database growth and proactively plan for scaling and resource allocation to accommodate increasing data demands.
