AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description This role emphasizes building, automating, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices while maintaining high availability, scalability, and security. Position : Cloud DevOps Engineer Location : Hyderabad Experience : 5+ years Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation processes. The ideal candidate has expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and scripting, along with a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management :

Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS-based solutions. Manage multi-account AWS setups with robust security and compliance practices.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible . Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration of resources.

• CI/CD Pipelines :

Build and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines for efficient software delivery. Integrate CI/CD workflows with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

• Containerization and Orchestration :

Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker . Optional: Work with Kubernetes for orchestration where applicable.

• Scripting and Automation :

Write and maintain scripts using Python , Linux shell scripting , and other tools to automate workflows. Develop tools and scripts to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot infrastructure.

• Operational Excellence :

Ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure and applications. Implement and monitor system security and compliance controls. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise :

Proficient in AWS services , including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, etc. Strong experience with multi-account AWS setups.

• DevOps & Automation :

Hands-on experience with Terraform , Ansible , and CI/CD pipelines . Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (optional).

• Scripting and Coding :

Strong experience in Python and Linux shell scripting .

• Operating Systems :

Expertise in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based environments .

• Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Kubernetes or EKS is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
