The role The primary responsibility is to support the offshore operations on the client locations as per EnerMech processes and procedure and demonstrate safety leadership and continuous development in all aspects of crane, lifting and support service activities. Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

Forklift Operators shall be responsible for ensuring that the Forklift is functioning correctly and properly maintained each and every time the Forklift is operated.
Forklift Operators shall be responsible for ensuring that the Forklift is operated with the design parameters in a safe manner.
Trained to the specific model of forklift used.
Familiar with the manufacturer's instructions for the forklift operation and for maintenance of the equipment.
Able to measure Load Centre and to get accurate information on the exact load weight.
Able to estimate the load Centre of Gravity and its effect on load balance.
Warn other personnel in the area of load movement.
Ensure that all equipment controls functioning correctly.
Ensure that the load does not block the vision of forklift operation. If unavoidable, Banksman to be provided during period of load lifts and transfers, or reverse driving is recommended.

Requirements

Forklift Operator shall be able to read and write English fluently, shall be experienced, fully trained and wholly competent in forklift operating duties associated with offshore operations.
Be at least 21 years of age or above and have a valid UAE Traffic department License.
Be capable of reading and understanding the English language sufficient for the fulfillment of their function in a safe manner.
Be physically fit with regard to eyesight, hearing, reflexes and ability to operate the forklift.
Be educated to a minimum qualification of Higher secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification.
Be experienced in forklift operations for not less than 1 year in oil & gas area.
