Senior Developer The Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support business operations and enhance organizational efficiency. This role involves customizing, optimizing, and integrating ERP solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of the ERP system. The Senior Developer also leads ERP-related projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. Strong expertise in ERP software, coding skills, and project management are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ERP system customizations, modules, and integrations to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ERP system, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to optimize ERP system functionality.
- Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of new ERP features, ensuring they align with business processes and objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ERP applications, including bug fixes and system enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity and security across the ERP system by implementing effective backup, recovery, and security protocols.
- Mentor and guide junior ERP developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT infrastructure teams, and end users, to ensure seamless ERP integration and adoption.
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides to support the deployment and maintenance of ERP systems.
- Stay current with ERP trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the ERP system.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP development, implementation, and customization, with hands-on experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or others.
- Proficiency in ERP-related programming languages and technologies (e.g., ABAP, SQL, Java, C#, or others).
- Strong experience in ERP system integration, module configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems (finance, supply chain, HR, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience leading projects, managing timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business users to understand their requirements.
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with ERP system security protocols and data privacy regulations.
