We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our Quality Assurance team remotely or in our Winnipeg Office. As a Quality Assurance Lead , you will mentor and lead a team of QA professionals, creating and implementing thorough test plans and strategies to ensure software quality for both web and mobile platforms. A strong technical background and leadership potential are essential, as we hope to see you transition into a senior leadership role within the next 1 to 2 years. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are crucial. - Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the execution of functional, regression, accessibility, UAT, and performance testing for web and mobile applications.
- Drive improvements in automation frameworks and oversee automated and performance testing initiatives.
- Ensure testing activities meet quality standards, maintaining alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Provide expertise in infrastructure, security, performance, and usability testing.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, promoting best practices and high standards of execution.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.
- Partner with Development, Product Management, and Business stakeholders to integrate quality into all stages of the SDLC.
- Proactively identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and resolve technical challenges.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to continually refine QA methodologies.
- A strategic thinker with a proven track record of blending technical knowledge and leadership capabilities.
- Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking, delivering results through methodical approaches.
- An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager, CSQA, CSTE, PRINCE2, or AWS Solution Architecture/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in performance, security, and usability testing principles.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, LoadRunner, and security testing suites.
- Proven track record of implementing scalable testing frameworks and improving QA processes.
- Experience working in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
