Lab Technician

Job Description: Support 24/7 QC operation. Carry out proper sampling of incoming water samples, daily operation in-process, and outgoing samples. Conduct preparation of media and samples for further analysis such as distillation, sample incubation, standards/buffers preparation, digestion, and any required preparation for sample testing. Conduct lab analysis of water samples such as pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Oil & Grease (O&G), and other routine and ad-hoc tests assigned by a chemist. Update test results in log sheets and LIMS system. Update chemicals and consumable usage in the inventory. Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in accordance with standard laboratory practices. Support ad-hoc weighbridge duty. Requirements: Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification (e.g., O-Level combined with substantial experience in the relevant field). Hands-on experience in laboratory testing, ensuring quality and accuracy in results. Basic communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
