Job Summary: Manage existing QHSE MS and implement the continuous improvement model for the organization's quality, health, safety and environmental management system intended to protect the organization's employees, the environment, and property against harm or damage. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect and verify technical documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Register and maintain status of inspections and deviations.
  • Supplier quality follow-up, inspections, verification.
  • Contribute to communicating our quality requirements to our suppliers and partners.
  • Advise on technical standards, establish, review, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Be intimately familiar with customer requirements and facilitate pre-shipment, review, and inspect records and final documentation.
  • Participate in standardization of quality requirements.
  • Assist in reporting KPIs within quality and HSE.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Participate in the daily maintenance and operation of the company's quality and HSE management system.
  • Assure facility health, safety, and environmental compliance, including implementing and maintaining written programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform safety inspections regularly, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Conduct customer-required safety surveys/training, maintaining necessary safety-related certifications.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Risk Assessments (RA).
  • Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage waste and raw materials properly, including labeling requirements, inspections, training documentation, accumulation times, and proper disposal.
  • Report and document all work-related injuries and claims, ensuring they are reported within the allowed time frame into our internal tracking system.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions for all injury/illness, property damage, and environmental incidents.
  • Participate in industrial injury & illness and near-miss investigations to identify root causes and recommend positive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with the administration of workers' hearing conservation, facility inspections, safety data sheets (SDS) database, and all related safety programs.
  • Maintain safety and environmental records and reports as required by governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with department managers/supervisors/leads to assist with HSE training and develop a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
  • Actively support, document, and conduct training in New Hire Safety Orientation, Short Service Employee (SSE) program, Monthly Safety Training, and required annual refresher training.
  • Aid in the development/implementation of site-specific practices and procedures for HSE compliance with NOV HSE Management System and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Corporate HSE/Risk Management and/or Contractors/Suppliers for HSE Programs (Industrial Hygiene, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Protection, Incident Reporting and Claims, Waste Management and Control, Security, etc.).
  • Evaluate department processes, methods, and activities to assure effective use of resources and equipment supporting HSE functions.
  • Coordinate the collection of HSE data (plan status, achievements, incident information, incident closure ratios, work hours, industry trends and rates, corrective actions, etc.).
  • Develop training modules (or specialized HSE training) as required and allocate them in the HSE achieve portal.
  • Review employee safety training and medical programs, conduct specialized HSE training, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry and company health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes, and stay updated on new HSE engineering techniques, procedures, instruments, and equipment.
  • Perform other duties related to facility management, vendor audits, and HSE client data as assigned.
  • Update HSE Manual and HSE procedures relating to WSS HSE procedures for changes.
  • Conduct HSE performance reviews as per the plan with area management and annual HSE performance review for continuous improvement of HSE MS.
  • Liaise with contracted certification agencies for external audits in the region.
  • Conduct Internal Audits as per ISO Standards and NOV HSE procedures.
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to local or area management.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
  • Diploma Degree.
  • HSE certified by internationally recognized accreditation (NEBOSH, OSHA, IADC).
  • 3-5 years of experience in QHSE.
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams).
  • Ability to work alone and with a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Relevant experience in an HSE advisory role within the oil & gas industry.
